Graffiti Rat Artist Stencil

A Symbol of Rebellious Creativity

The Graffiti Rat Artist stencil features an anthropomorphic rat wearing a beret and a painter’s apron, holding a spray paint can in one hand. At its feet, scattered paint pots and spray cans emphasize the image of an artist in action. Behind the rat, the phrase "ART IS RESISTANCE" drips in bold, expressive letters, highlighting art as a powerful tool for protest and freedom. This stencil embodies the rebellious spirit of street art, where the rat—often seen as an outcast—becomes a symbol of perseverance and ingenuity against societal norms. It is a tribute to freedom of expression and the transformative impact of art in urban spaces.

Raw and Expressive Street Art Design

The Graffiti Rat Artist stencil embraces a striking street art aesthetic, with sharp lines and realistic dripping effects. Inspired by iconic urban graffiti, it captures attention with its raw and spontaneous energy. Its dynamic design, blending subversion with humor, makes it an ideal choice for artists and enthusiasts of socially engaged art. Easy to use on various surfaces—walls, canvases, furniture, or textiles—this stencil allows you to infuse your creations with a rebellious and creative touch. Whether you want to make a bold statement or simply add an urban edge to your decor, this unique design offers endless possibilities. Elevate your artwork with the daring and inspiring presence of the Graffiti Rat Artist stencil.

The stencil, a starting point for creation

A stencil doesn't dictate the colors, the style or the final result. It can be used to integrate a portrait into an abstract painting, create textures, add graphic effects or enrich a composition. Acrylic, spray paint, brushes, drips and layered colors: every artist can combine techniques and interpret our designs in their own way, to create artworks that truly reflect them.

Frequently asked questions

Here are the essentials to help you order with confidence.

Yes! Made from flexible, durable Mylar, our stencils are designed to be used hundreds of times, with both acrylic paint and spray paint. Their sturdiness lets you create again and again without having to replace the stencil after each use.

After testing several materials and thicknesses in our workshop, we chose Mylar about 8 mil (0.008 in) thick for its balance between flexibility and durability. Thicker films tend to retain more of the curl from being manufactured on a roll, which makes them harder to lay flat. Our choice makes it easier to work on canvas while maintaining excellent durability.

With spray paint, systematic cleaning is usually not necessary: thin layers of paint can dry on the stencil without affecting its reuse. If paint builds up, especially with thick acrylic, you can gently clean your stencil with lukewarm water or a product suited to the paint used.

Yes. Our stencils can be used on canvas, wood, walls, paper and fabric, with a paint suited to the surface. Their flexibility makes them easy to position for creating paintings, murals and many decorative projects.

Yes, we ship our stencils worldwide. Shipping costs and delivery times are calculated based on your country and the dimensions of your order, and are shown before payment.

We accept secure payments by credit card and PayPal, as well as several local payment options depending on your country of residence.

Yes. You have 30 days after receipt to return an unused stencil, in accordance with our return policy. The refund is issued once the product has been received and inspected.
